Harbhajan Singh, the former Indian cricketer, has expressed his disappointment with the performance of the Indian spinners in the recently concluded India vs Australia series in Indore.
The Indian spinners, led by Ravichandran Ashwin, failed to make an impact in the series, as the Australian batsmen were able to score freely against them. This resulted in India losing the series 2-1.
Speaking to the media after the series, Harbhajan said, “I was a bit disappointed with the performance of the Indian spinners. They didn’t seem to be able to contain the Australian batsmen, and that cost us the series.”
He further added, “The Indian spinners have been doing well in the recent past, but in this series, they failed to make an impact. I think they need to work on their bowling and come back stronger in the next series.”
Harbhajan also praised the Australian batsmen for their performance in the series. He said, “The Australian batsmen played really well in this series. They were able to score freely against the Indian spinners, and that was the difference between the two sides.”
